Honda Smart Card Key INDICATOR

INPUT VOLTAGE LINE INSPECTION

(WITH TEST HARNESS)

Connect the test harness 21P between the handle

lock module 21P (Black) connector and main wire

harness (page 23-17).

INDICATOR DOES NOT COME ON

Short the test harness 21P and ground with the

jumper wire.

CONNECTION: 7 (+) – Ground (–)

The indicator should illuminate when the ignition

switch is turned ON.

If the indicator does not illuminate, check the follow-

There should be battery voltage at all times without

approx. two seconds while the indicator is illumi-

nated after the ignition switch is turned ON.

If the battery voltage does not appear, check for

open circuit in Yellow/white wire.

Check the continuity between the test harness and

If there is continuity, check for short circuit in Yel-

low/white wire.

There is no continuity, faulty combination meter
