BLK Under all conditions Check for continuity to ground:
There should be continuity.
. An open in the wire.
. P o o r g r o u n d ( G 1 0 1 ) .
BLK/YEL
lgnition switch ON
Check for voltage to ground:
There should be battery
voltage.

. Short to ground

O R N lgnition switch ON Check for voltage to ground:
There should be about 5 V
. Short to ground
. An open in the wire.
NOTE: A short to ground in the ORN wire can be caused by a short in anv comDonent connected to it.
lnspect No. 23 (15 A) luse in
undeFdash fuse/relay box before
testing.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure voltage between the
BLK/YEL wire terminal and the
BLK wire terminal in the harness
sade ol the 3 P conneclor.
