Description
Activates/deactivates the DC hold and post-
magnetization functions. See section
magnetization
on page
Note: DC magnetization causes the motor to heat up.
In applications where long DC magnetization times
are required, externally ventilated motors should be
used. If the DC magnetization period is long, DC
magnetization cannot prevent the motor shaft from
rotating if a constant load is applied to the motor.
Value
1 = DC hold. See section
Note: The DC hold function has no effect if the start signal is
switched off.
1 = Post-magnetization. See section

.
Note: Post-magnetization is only available when ramping is the
selected stop mode (see parameter

After 100 s post-magnetization time, the maximum
magnetization current is limited to the magnetization
current corresponding to the actual flux reference.
DC hold current.
Defines the length of time for which post-
magnetization is active after stopping the motor. The
magnetization current is defined by parameter

Post-magnetization time.
Selects the way autophasing is performed during the
Autophasing
ID run. See section
This mode gives the most accurate autophasing
result. This mode can be used, and is recommended,
if the motor is allowed to rotate during the ID run and
the start-up is not time-critical.
