Introduction
MagneMover LITE Overview
Puck Body – Supports the magnet array and wheels and provides a mounting
surface for the payload.
Septum/Septum Wheels – Provides guidance for the puck when moving
through switches.
Lateral Guide Wheels – Provides guidance to make sure that the puck stays
centered in the track.
Suspension Wheels – Provides a low friction support for the puck while mov-
ing.
Side Bumpers – Provides protection for the bottom of the rails when carrying
unbalanced loads or when moving through curves at high velocity.
Magnet Array – Interacts with the motors, which move the vehicle.
UHMW Strip – Provides a low friction surface to help prevent damage if there
is contact between the magnet array and the motor.
Switch (not shown) – One straight motor and one curve motor that are enclosed in one
module with an integral mechanical switching mechanism that provides either a merge
of two paths into one or one path that diverges into two.
System Leg (Stand System) – Used to support the MagneMover LITE transport sys-
tem.
V-brace – Used to align and secure adjacent sections of the guide rail to each other.
