PARKING BRAKE LEVER

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
PARKING BRAKE LEVER LINK
Remove the inner cover (page 3-27).
Remove the bolt and inner cover guard from the
parking brake lever link.
Disconnect the parking brake switch connectors.
Loosen the lock nut and disconnect the parking
brake cable from the parking brake lever link.
Remove the bolts and parking brake lever link.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
PARKING BRAKE CABLE
Remove the front side cover (page 3-21).
Loosen the lock nut and disconnect the parking
brake cable from the parking brake lever link.
Remove the adjusting nut and disconnect the park-
ing brake cable from the brake arm.
Remove the parking brake cable from the clamp
(page 1-21).
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Route the cable
