If your Honda NSS250A scooter won't start despite having a trickle charger connected and a solid green light, possible reasons include:
1. Blown Fuse – Check the main fuse and other fuses in the fuse box. A blown fuse can prevent the scooter from starting. 2. Discharged or Faulty Battery – Even with a trickle charger, the battery might be weak or damaged. Ensure the battery holds a proper charge. 3. ABS System Issue – If the ABS battery is discharged, ABS may not function, but normal braking should still work. 4. Ignition or Starter Issues – Ensure the ignition switch is in the correct position and check the starter magnetic switch connection. 5. Loose or Corroded Connections – Inspect the battery terminals and wiring for corrosion or loose connections.
Check these factors to diagnose the issue.
