PCM (NSS250A)

POWER/GROUND LINE INSPECTION
WITH TEST PROBE
• Before starting the inspection, check for loose or
poor contact on the PCM 33P (Black) connector
and recheck the MIL blinking.
Engine does not start (MIL no blinks)
1. Input Voltage Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the PCM 33P (Black) connector (page
6-102).
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop
switch " ".
Measure the voltage between the PCM 33P
(Black) connector terminal of wire side and
ground.
TOOL:
Test probe
CONNECTION: Black/white (+) – Ground (–)
Is there battery voltage?
YES
NO
2. Ground Line Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Check the continuity between the PCM 33P
(Black) connector terminals of wire side and
ground.
TOOL:
Test probe
CONNECTION: Green – Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
3. Engine Stop Relay Inspection 1
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the engine stop relay (page 6-79).
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop
switch " ".
Measure the voltage at the fuse/relay box termi-
nals of wire side.
CONNECTION: Red/green (+) – Black/orange (–)
Is there battery voltage?
YES
NO

– • Open circuit in Green wire
• Open circuit in Green/black wire
– GO TO STEP 4.
– • Open circuit in power input line
between the battery and engine stop
relay.
• Blown fuse (MAIN B and/or ECU, IGN
fuse)
• Faulty bank angle sensor
