8. If another new card key is to be registered, turn the ignition switch OFF within two minutes after step
7, then repeat step 6 and step 7.
• If more than two minutes have passed, perform step 3 again.
• The handle lock module can store up to four card key codes. (The four card keys can be registered.)
9. Turn the ignition switch OFF, disconnect the inspection adaptor and connect the dummy connector
to the registration connector.
• The Honda Smart Card Key System returns to the normal mode.
10.Check if the ignition switch can be turned ON using all the newly registered card keys.
When all card keys have been lost, or the handle lock module is faulty:
1. Replace the handle lock module (page 23-26).
