Install the snap ring to the groove of the crankcase
cover.
• Check that the snap ring is seated in the groove.
• Do not reuse the snap ring which could easily
spin in the groove.
Install the element of the belt case air cleaner (page
4-15).
LEFT DRIVE SHAFT BEARING REPLACEMENT
Remove the left drive shaft bearing from the left
crankcase cover using special tools.
TOOLS:
Bearing remover set, 20 mm
Remover weight
Bearing remover handle
Drive in the crankshaft bearing to the left crankcase
cover using special tools.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 42 x 47 mm
Pilot, 20 mm
INSTALLATION
• Route the wires properly (page 1-21).
Check the rubber seal for deterioration or damage,
replace it if necessary.
Clean the rubber seal groove in the left crankcase
cover.
Install the rubber seal onto the left crankcase cover.
