Apply oil to the drive chain whole surface and
driven sprocket teeth.
Set the drive chain over the driven sprocket, and
install the driven sprocket to the oil pump.
• Install the driven sprocket with its "OUT" mark
facing out.
• Install the driven sprocket while aligning the flat
surfaces of the sprocket and pump shaft.
Apply oil to the driven sprocket bolt threads.
Install and tighten the oil pump driven sprocket bolt
The oil pump driven
to the specified torque.
sprocket bolt has
left-hand threads.
TORQUE: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
Install the driven sprocket cover and tighten the
bolt.
Install the right crankcase cover (page 13-5).
After installation, pour the recommended oil into
the crankcase (page 4-11) and check that there is no
oil leaks.
Check the oil pressure (page 5-5).
