Honda Smart Card Key INDICATOR

Remove the screen garnish (page 3-18).
Perform the following inspection with the combina-
tion meter 28P (Gray) connector connected.
INPUT VOLTAGE LINE INSPECTION
Measure the voltage at the combination meter 28P
(Gray) connector.
CONNECTION:
Light green/yellow (+) – Green/black (–)
There should be battery voltage.

OUTPUT VOLTAGE LINE INSPECTION
Measure the voltage between the combination
meter 28P (Gray) connector and ground.
CONNECTION: Yellow/white – Ground
STANDARD:
There should be no voltage while the indicator is
illuminated after the ignition switch is turned ON,
then the battery voltage should appear, if the sys-
tem is normal.
