FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)
THROTTLE VALVE FULLY CLOSED
POSITION RESET PROCEDURE
• Make sure that the DTCs are not stored in PCM/
ECM. If the DTCs are stored in PCM/ECM, the
throttle valve fully closed position reset mode
won't start.
• If the sensor unit is removed, reset the throttle
valve fully closed position as following.
1. Remove the battery cover (page 19-6).
2. Remove the dummy connector.
3. Short the DLC using the special tool.
TOOL:
SCS connector
4. Remove the luggage lower box (page 3-16).
5. Temporarily install the battery (page 19-6).
6. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. Disconnect the ECT sensor 3P (Gray) connector.
Short the ECT sensor 3P connector terminals of
the wire side using the jumper wire.
CONNECTION: Pink/white – Green/orange
8. Turn the ignition switch ON and the MIL start
blinking.
Within 10 seconds after turning the ignition
switch ON, disconnect the jumper wire from the
3P (Gray) connector.
9. After disconnecting the jumper wire, the MIL
start to blinking.
