Crankcase Assembly - Honda NSS250S Manual

INSTALLATION
Align the balancer shaft sub-gear and balancer gear
holes and install a pin into the holes.
Install the balancer gear while aligning index marks
of the sub-gear and crank gear.
Assemble the crankcase halves (page 14-21).

CRANKCASE ASSEMBLY

Clean the inside and mating surface of the crank-

Dress any roughness or irregularities with an oil
stone.
Apply sealant (TB1207B or equivalent) to the right
and left crankcase mating surfaces.
Clean the disassembled parts with oil.
Apply oil to new O-ring and then install it to the oil
joint collars.
Install a new O-ring to the water joint collar.
Install the oil joint collars with O-rings and water
joint collar with O-ring to the left crankcase.
Install the dowel pins.
Install the balancer gear (page 14-21).
