FRONT SEAT

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the floor side panel (page 3-6).
Remove the bolts and opener damper from the front
seat.
Remove the bolts and washers from the seat hinge.
Remove the front seat.
Install the seat, bolts and washers.
Fill the opener
damper joint ball
Install the opener damper and bolts.
with 0.4 g (0.014 oz)
Tighten the damper stay bolts to the specified
minimum of
torque.
grease. Apply
grease to the seat TORQUE: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7 lbf·ft)
hinge sliding area.
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
Remove the screws, seat hinge under cover and
seat hinge cover from the seat hinge.
Remove the nuts and seat hinge from the front seat.
Install the seat hinge and nuts.
Tighten the seat hinge nuts to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7 lbf·ft)
Install the seat hinge cover, seat hinge under cover
and screws to the seat hinge.
Tighten the seat hinge cover screws to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 1.6 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.2 lbf·ft)
