CRANKCASE BREATHER

Service more frequently when ridden in rain, at full
throttle, or after the scooter is washed or over-
turned. Service if the deposit level can be seen in
the crankcase breather hose.
Check the crankcase breather hose.
If deposits has collected, remove the clip and crank-
case breather drain plug from the crankcase
breather hose.
Drain deposits into a suitable container, and install
the crankcase breather drain plug and tighten the
clip.
Remove the luggage lower box (page 3-16).
Check the crankcase breather hose and replace it if
the crankcase breather hose is deteriorated, dam-
aged or leaked.
Also check the crankcase breather hose fittings for
leakage.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
