Figure 24.4-1 shows an example of minimal connection with the flash microcontroller
programmer when the power supply voltage of the microcontroller is supplied from the
user power supply.

The MD2, MD1, MD0, and P00 pins need not be connected to the flash microcontroller
programmer if each pin is connected, as shown below, for flash memory programming.
