a) Figure right, place the 34° C (6.808 KΩ) plug from the
FOUR RESISTOR SET into the
position from the left "MON-NTC".
b) TWO (2) possible scenarios ,
based on the screen's [Monitor
Reference] data box:
1)
IF (and ONLY if) [Monitor Reference] continues to change more than 0.2 °C per minute:
THREE possible bad components: 1) Unstable +12 and/or -12 volt DC voltage (i.e. possible bad
Power Logic Board); 2) Bad Sensor Board; 3) Bad Functional Board.
2) IF [Monitor Reference] does NOT change more than 0.2 °C per minute: NTC #3 may be bad: See
parts a and b below:
a) Replace NTC #3 with a known good! To LOCATE NTC #3 refer to
b) Return to (ABOVE) procedure number
