The Gas Flow Calibration menu is used to calibrate the gas flow controller
at 5, 20, 35, 50, 65, 80, and 95 percent of full-scale. Using a NIST
traceable flow meter, the accuracy of the controller can be calibrated to
about ± 1%, as opposed to the ± 2% accuracy rating when shipped from
the manufacturer. The gas flow calibration is visible only when the
instrument is in service mode. For more information of the service mode,
see
"Service
Mode" earlier in the chapter.
Note This adjustment should only be performed by an instrument service
technician.
