Allen wrench, 1/16-inch
Equipment Damage Some internal components can be damaged by small
amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must
be worn while handling any internal component.
1. Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.
2. Disconnect the plumbing and electrical connections.
3. Loosen the captive screws (4) securing the photometer to the floor plate
(Figure
7-12) and remove the photometer.
4. Loosen the Allen screw securing the detector in detector block and
remove the detector.
5. Install the new detector by following the above steps in reverse.
6. Adjust the photometer lamp intensity, if necessary via Service > Lamp
Setting.
Use the following procedure to replace the photometer thermistor
(Figure
7-12).
Equipment Required:
Photometer thermistor
Wrench, 1/4-inch
