The Model 146i Dynamic Gas Calibrator can produce up to four different
flow streams, using three hardware modules. The basic unit contains only
the dilution module. There are two optional modules, either or both of
which can be added to the basic instrument. These optional modules are:
the ozonator generating module which produces an ozone flow or gas
phase titration (GPT) with the addition of an NO cylinder.
the permeation tube oven module
The flow for each module is governed by mass flow controllers and
solenoids. Each system is described independently. While many of the
components are shared, they may only be necessary for one or two
functions. These components are only described when the system that
requires them is being used.
