If two MCSs are installed,
the master MCS fails or is removed, the backup restarts and becomes the master MCS.
The MCSs install into the midplane from the back of the chassis (see
page 677).

To obtain information about the redundant MCS hardware.
To display whether there are redundant MCSs installed in a router and to get hardware
information, use the following command:
user@ host> show chassis hardware
