tance checks equal 3.5-6.5

Turn the ignition switch ON.
Is there approx. 5 V?
Reconnect 3P connector.
Connect the ECU test harness
between the ECU and connector
(page 11-21).
Measure voltage between D8 (+I
t e r m i n a l a n d D2[
Y E S
Substitute a known-good ECU
and recheck. If symptomlindica-
tion goes away, replace the
original ECU.
Measure voltage between YELI

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Connect the ECU test harness
between the ECU and connector
(page 11-21).
Turn the ignition switch ON.
