Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.
Release Information
Assigns a password for authentication of IS-IS level 2 LSPs, CSNPs, and PSNPs. The

no version deletes the password.
NOTE: Issuing this command enables simple authentication of level 2 LSPs only. To
enable authentication of level 2 CSNPs or PSNPs, use the domain-authentication
command.

0 indicates the authKey is entered in unencrypted form (plaintext); this is the
default option
8 indicates the authKey is entered in encrypted form (ciphertext)
authKey password; string of up to 8 characters
