Description
The IRT 710 motor is controlled by IRC5 controller through an ABB Serial
Measurement Board. For IRT 710 used to move a manipulator, it is possible to
connect the motor resolver to the manipulator's integrated SMB board (robot
option). If there is no robot, or if the robot is not equipped with a resolver socket
for external axis on its base, it is necessary to use an external SMB box:
