4.5.2 Automatic lubrication system

Checking grease level and inspect the pipes with lubrication feedback system
When lubrication feedback system is used, there will be an abnormal alarm on the
FlexPendant if anything is not ok in the lubrication system.
The procedure below details how to troubleshoot the lubrication system when the
lubrication feedback system has abnormal alarm happened.

Action
Check that no pipe has been damaged, and that
the grease is distributed to each block and on the
pinion.
Action
Locate the cartridge.
Check the level of lubricant. If the lubricant is used
up, change with a new one.
Check if the lubrication pump is working normally.
If not, check:
• The battery is low or not. If yes, replace the
battery. (Although the replacement battery
should be delivered with the replacement
cartridge, note that it is possible to use a
set of 3 pcs standard AA batteries).
• The EPS system is working normally or not.
If no, replace the cartridge.
