B - Rear Wiper System Power and Ground Supply Test
Test point
1 Access connector 122 on
rear wiper switch.
Ignition ON.
Check for 12 volts at cavity
3 and 6.
2 Check for 12 volts at inline
connector 13, cavity K.
3 Check for 12 volts at rear
wiper motor connector 98,
cavity C.
4 Check for continuity to
chassis ground at rear
wiper motor connector 99,
cavity A.
Test point
1 Key ON.
Select low speed on front
wiper switch.
Does front wiper motor
operate at low speed?
2 Select high speed on front
wiper switch.
Does front wiper motor
operate at high speed?
3 Operate front washer
switch.
Does front washer motor
operate?

Good Reading
Rear wiper switch power
supply good. Go to next
test point.
Go to next test point.
Check inline splice if sent
here by test point -1, bad
reading.
Rear wiper motor power
supply good. Go to next
test point.
Ground circuit OK.
C - Front Wiper/Washer Switch Test
Good Reading
Go to next test point.
Go to next test point
Front wiper/washer switch
good.

Possible Cause of Bad Reading
Go to next test point.
Check inline splice C38 and check
circuit 841C (O) for open between splice
and fuse 52.
Open circuit 841B (O).
Go to next test point.
Possible Cause of Bad Reading
Go to test point E-4.
Go to test point E-7.
Go to test point F-1.
