Configuring Node Defaults
3-4
Node Defaults are a set of parameters that identify an FRX/FRM for purposes of
remote control, file transfers, and/or alarm reporting to or from other FRXs or FRMs,
and define connections between the FRX/FRM and a NetView manager device.
Press
at the Node Configuration Menu to display a screen similar to Figure 3-1.
[C]
This is the first of three Node Defaults screens—pressing
the display among the three screens.
The first two screens contain parameters that apply to all users. The third screen con-
tains parameters used in sessions between a NetView host and the NetView service
point function in the FRX/FRM. If the NetView function will not be used, the third
screen does not have to be configured.
