6.4.4 Adding a Smart Cooling Product

6.4.4.1 Setting Monitoring Parameters for NetCol5000 and NetCol8000(over
Modbus-RTU)
The method of setting monitoring parameters for NetCol5000C-65kW&80kW,
NetCol5000-C025/C030/A020/A035, NetCol8000-A050A100/C070/C150 are the same. This
section describes the configuration method for the NetCol5000.
Prerequisites
Context
Before connecting the NetCol5000 to the NetEco, set monitoring parameters, such as the
device address and baud rate, on the NetCol5000, and then modify the port parameters for the
collector connecting to the NetCol5000 to ensure that the values of BaudRate, DataBit,
StopBit, and Parity on the NetCol5000 are consistent with those for the collector port.
Procedure
Step 1 On the display panel of the NetCol5000, press Settings.
Step 2 Enter the administrators password for the NetCol5000, then press

Step 4 Set Baud Rate and Com address.
Issue 03 (2019-03-10)
The device address planned for the NetCol5000 is obtained.
The NetCol5000 is powered on.
The IP address, user name, and password for logging in to the collector are obtained.
A PC with an IP address in the same network segment as the collector is prepared, and
the PC connects to the collector over a switch.
The NetCol5000 preset user name is Admin, and the password is 000001. To protect the access security,
change the password after logging in to the NetCol5000 for the first time.
