11. Troubleshooting
Operator action
- Perform a 2-point
calibration.
- Contact Radiometer
service representative.
Removal condition: No
errors detected by oximetry
hardware.
- Check patient record for
medication containing
possible interfering
substances.
- Call a 2-point calibration.
- Contact Radiometer
Service Representative.
Repeat tHb calibration.
Removal condition:
Successful tHb calibration.
- Check for and remedy
other errors in the result,
and any errors in System
Messages or Calibration
Status.
- Perform QC. If the QC
result value lies within the
measuring range, the blood
sample may be suspected.
- Perform the Electrode
Troubleshooting procedure.
- Verify procedure and
repeat the measurement.
- Refer to the Quality
Control Systems Reference
Manual for details on the
evaluation of the results.
