Chapter 55 Mirror Commands
DESCRIPTION
Removes the specified monitor port.
port-num: in a modular switch, enter the port number
preceded by a slot number and backslash (/). For
example, 3/11 indicates port 11 on the card in the third
slot.
Enters config-interface mode for the specified port(s).
port-list: in a modular switch, enter the port number
preceded by a slot number and backslash (/). For
example, 3/11 indicates port 11 on the card in the third
slot. Use a comma (,) to separate individual ports or a dash
(-) to indicates a range of ports. For example, "3/11,4/5" or
"3/7-3/9".
Enables port mirroring in the interface.
Enables port mirroring for incoming (ingress), outgoing
(egress) or both incoming and outgoing (both) traffic.
Disables port mirroring on the port(s).
DESCRIPTION
Copies outgoing frames with the specified source or
destination MAC address from mirrored ports to the
monitor port.
This command works with the previous command,
mirror-filter egress mac.
all: Specifies that the Switch should copy all outgoing
traffic from mirrored ports.
dest: Specifies that the Switch should copy all outgoing
traffic with the specified destination MAC address from
mirrored ports.
src: Specifies that the Switch should copy outgoing traffic
with the specified source MAC address from mirrored
ports.
Copies incoming frames matching with the specified
source or destination MAC address from mirrored ports to
the monitor port.
This command works with the previous command,
mirror-filter ingress mac.
all: Specifies that the Switch should copy all outgoing
traffic from mirrored ports.
dest: Specifies that the Switch should copy all incoming
traffic with the specified destination MAC address from
mirrored ports.
src: Specifies that the Switch should copy all incoming
traffic with the specified source MAC address from
mirrored ports.
Displays mirror settings of the Switch.
