Chapter 42 IPv6 Commands
DESCRIPTION
Enters config-route-domain mode for the specified
VLAN. Creates the VLAN, if necessary.
Globally enables IPv6 in this VLAN. The Switch then
creates a link-local address automatically. Use "show
ipv6" to see the generated address.
Manually configures a static IPv6 global address for the
VLAN.
Manually configures a static IPv6 global address for the
VLAN and have the interface ID be generated
automatically using the EUI-64 format.
Manually configures a static IPv6 link-local address for
the VLAN.
Use the command to have the Switch generate an
IPv6 global address automatically in this VLAN after the
Switch obtains the VLAN network information from a
router.
Note: Make sure an IPv6 router is available in the
Sets the default gateway for the VLAN. When an
interface cannot find a routing information for a
frame's destination, it forwards the packet to the
default gateway.
Sets the Switch to get a non-temporary IP address from
the DHCP server.

Sets the Switch to obtain DNS server IPv6 addresses or a
list of domain names from the DHCP server.
Disables IPv6 in this VLAN.
Removes a specified static global address.
Removes a specified static global address whose
interface ID was generated using the EUI-64 format.
Removes a specified static link-local address.
Disables IPv6 address autoconfiguration in this VLAN.
Removes the default gateway address for this VLAN.
