Slings attached directly onto robot
This section details how to lift and move the robot using lifting slings when these
are attached directly onto the robot frame.

Action
Run the overhead crane to a position above
the robot.
Position the robot as detailed in enclosed in-
struction!
Note
If the robot is equipped with forklift pockets,
it is necessary to remove these in order to
reach the lower holes in the frame. These are
used to attach the hooks of the lifting slings.
Fit lifting device, robot to the robot as de-
scribed in enclosed instruction!
CAUTION
The IRB 760 robot weighs 2300 kg.
All lifting accessories used must be sized ac-
cordingly!
WARNING
Personnel must not, under any circumstances,
be present under the suspended load!
Raise overhead crane to lift the robot.
