Loosen the four captive screws attaching the front PDU handle to the PDU and chassis.

Grasp the front PDU handle on the PDU faceplate and pull firmly down toward you.

Slide the PDU halfway out of the chassis until you can reach the installation handle
located on top of the PDU. (See
CAUTION:
Each PDU weighs approximately 63.3 lb (28.7 kg). Be prepared
to support the full weight of the PDU as you remove it from the packet
transport router.
Use the installation handle to slide the PDU completely out of the chassis.

Use the captive screws on the metal retaining bracket to reattach it to the PDU being

removed.
WARNING:
Do not touch the power connectors on the rear of the PDU. They
can contain dangerous voltages.
CAUTION:
Do not leave a PDU slot empty for more than a short time while
the packet transport router is operational. For proper airflow, the PDU must
remain in the chassis or a blank panel must be used in an empty slot.
