Each PTX5000 contains nine SIBs located at the center rear of the chassis in the slots

SIBs create the switch fabric for the packet transport router.

The PTX5000 supports the following SIBs:

SIB-I-PTX5008

SIB2-I-PTX5K

SIB3-I-PTX5K
