Overview

The Patient Admit screen allows you to enter and edit a patient's demographic data
(name, ID, birth date, height, weight, admit date, and physician). You can admit
patients at the bedside monitor or at the central station, provided your monitor is
connected to the network. You can also transfer a patient's data, trends, and
calculations from one monitor to another. Transfer procedures differ according to
whether or not the source and destination monitors are connected to the Infinity
network. Discharging a patient deletes all related data, both on the monitor and at the
central station. Monitor and patient settings return to their local default settings and all
recordings are cancelled.
