The Main Menu
Menu Item
Description
Vertical
Displays a vertical cursor. You can scroll

forward and backward across all
waveforms.
NOTES:
• The cursor has no value.
• The cursor remains displayed until the
window closes.
• The buttons remain ghosted until you
press the Stop key.
To exit the Cursor tool:
• Press/click the rotary knob to exit the
cursor control.

• Press the Menu, Main Screen, Alarm
Limits, Fast Access, or Discharge
fixed key.
Review
Provides access to submenus of the Main
menu display (see page 2-2).
Patient
Determines the availability of monitoring
Category
features such as apnea detection
(neonates only) and ventilation.
NOTES:
• Clicking on a setting displays a popup
message that warns you that things will
change if you confirm the action. Click
on the category of your choice again to
confirm the action.
• If you change a patient's category, the
weight selection is cleared and must be
selected again.
Pressure
Assigns IBP pressure channel labels (see
Labels
chapter 14, for detailed information).
