Function Description
VENT Setup Menu
Respiratory Displays a list of continuously updated
Mechanics ventilator parameters.
FV Loop Displays a flow/volume loop
Flow Scale Sets the size of the flow waveform.
Vol Scale Sets the size of the volume waveform. 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 250, 500, 750,
Purge Sensor Purges the tubing of water
condensation and patient secretions.
NOTE: Though the system periodically
purges the breathing circuit
automatically, it may sometimes be
necessary to purge manually.
MVe Alarm Opens the Alarm Limits table
beginning at MVe setting.
Gas Informs the monitor of ventilation gas
Compensation in current use. See page 19-12 for
more information on gas
compensation.
Agent Informs the monitor of the anesthetic
Concentration agents in ventilation gas being used.

Waveform Sets the type of the displayed
Display waveform.
• Parameter 1 Selects up to 3 parameters for display
in the flow/volume parameter box.

Clear Clears the reference loop from the
Reference main screen.
Loop Draw Configures the number of displayed
loops.
Vent Mini Trend Selects which parameter is displayed
in the Mini Trend when the split screen
is set to 10 or 60 min trends.
