Example
The following example sets the preemption mode value for the virtual router
for VLAN 15.
console(config)#interface vlan 15
console(config-if-vlan15)#ip vrrp 5 preempt

ip vrrp priority

Use the ip vrrp priority command in Interface Configuration mode to set the
priority value for the virtual router configured on a specified interface. Use
the no form of the command to return the priority to the default value.
Syntax
vr-id
ip vrrp
priority
vr-id
no ip vrrp
vr-id — The virtual router identifier. (Range: 1-255)
priority — Priority value for the interface. (Range: 1-254)
Default Configuration

has a default value of 100.
