Preparation for Use – Setting Up

Press the Plumbing Tab touch button & select the appropriate Boom Section
settings for your Cruiser.

3 Plumbing

Press the Plumbing Tab touch button to open the Plumbing
settings screen and the Plumbing settings screen opens
displaying series of tabs (opening on the first tab):
A. Boom Sections
B. Control Valves
C. Tank Levels
D. Tank Calibration.
A. Boom Sections Tab
Boom Section settings provide for selected boom sections to
be automatically shut off when using for Bi-fold and Tri-fold
functions.
i)
Outer Boom Wing Sections (Bi-fold)
Select the boom sections to remain On when the Bi-fold
function is being used. Selected sections display Green.
ii) Middle Boom Wing Sections (Tri-fold)
Select the boom sections to remain on when the Tri-fold
function is being used. Selected sections display Green.
iii) Auto Fold Section Shut-off
Press the Shut-Off touch button to automatically shut off
sections not being used when Bi-fold or Tri-fold is being
used.

Press the Control Valves Tab touch button, then the Fill Valve (Slow) display.
B. Control Valves Tab
Press the Control Valves Tab touch button to open the Control
Valves settings screen and the Control Valves screen opens
displaying:
i)
Fill Valve Calibration
ii) Rapid Flow (Auto)
iii) Agitation Spray Mode (Auto)
iv) Filter Clean (Auto)
v) Boom Prime.
i)
Fill Valve Calibration
The Fill Valve Calibration settings comprise:
'Fill Valve (Slow)' setting - used to create back pressure
when filling the product tank (sufficient back pressure is
required to provide enough pressure for operating the
rinse nozzles).
'Upper Fill Buffer (L)' setting - used to set an upper fill
level for the product tank as a buffer for slowing and
stopping tank filling. At the point set, the product fill
valve with reduce flow into the product tank before it
reaches the target fill volume.
Press the numbers required for the Fill Valve (Slow) setting.
To Set the Fill Valve (Slow):
1 Press the 'Fill Valve (Slow)' display touch button and a
numerical keypad appears.
2 Press the numbers to set the value eg, 30, then press
Enter. The screen returns to the Control Valves tab
screen with eg, 30 displayed in the Fill Valve (Slow)
display.
To Set the 'Upper Fill Buffer (L)':
1 Press the 'Upper Fill Buffer (L)' display touch button and
a numerical keypad appears.
2 Press the numbers to set the value eg, 100 (litres), then
press Enter. The screen returns to the Control Valves
tab screen with eg, '100' displayed in the 'Upper Fill
Buffer (L)' display.
The Fill Valve value (0 - 100 [percentage]) is used create back pressure for
operating the rinse nozzles. Increasing the value will increase the filling time for the
product tank.
The value of 30 is recommended as an initial calibration but it can be altered if
required for operating conditions.
