Preparation for Use – Setting Up

Press the 'Low Speed Alarm (rpm)' display touch button to set the Low speed
alarm value.
v) Low Speed Alarm (rpm)
'Low Speed Alarm (rpm)' - is used to set a pump low speed
value to warn an operator if the pump under speeds.
To Set the 'Low Speed Alarm (rpm):
1 Press the 'Low Speed Alarm (rpm)' display touch button
and a numerical keypad appears.
2 Press the numbers to set the required value, then press
Enter. The screen returns to the Hydraulics tab screen
with eg, 300 displayed in the 'Low Speed Alarm (rpm)'
display.
The Low Speed Alarm (rpm) setting value depends on the type of pump being
used:
Positive displacement pumps (ie, Zeta) - minimum operating speed is 200 rpm.
Centrifugal pumps (ie, Arag) - - minimum operating speed is 2500 rpm.

Press the 'Variable Fan Speed' display touch button to select or deselect it.
B. Engine Fan
The G-Hub allows the engine to set & make use of 'Variable
Speed Fan' control which provides for quieter running and
more efficient fuel consumption. If not selected the engine fan
runs at full speed while the engine is running.
To Set the Variable Fan Speed:
Press the 'Variable Fan Speed' touch button to select or
deselect the alarm.
The touch button displays Green when selected & Grey
when deselected.
Use of the Variable Speed Fan (reducing engine fan speed) may in some weather
conditions give rise to less air conditioning performance in the cabin than might
be desirable.
Press the 'High & Low Oil Temperature' display touch buttons to set the values
in °C.
C. Alarms
The G-Hub incorporates alarms for high and low hydraulic
oil temperatures for added protection. The high and low
temperature alarm values required will depend on your local
climate.
To Set the High Oil Temperature (°C) Alarm:
1 Press the 'High Oil Temperature (°C)' display touch
button and a numerical keypad appears.
2 Press the numbers to set the required value, then press
Enter. The screen returns to the Hydraulics tab screen
with eg, '80' displayed in the 'High Oil Temperature (°C)'
display.
To Set the Low Oil Temperature (°C) Alarm:
1 Press the 'Low Oil Temperature (°C)' display touch
button and a numerical keypad appears.
2 Press the numbers to set the required value, then press
Enter. The screen returns to the Hydraulics tab screen
with eg, '7' displayed in the 'Low Oil Temperature (°C)'
display.
