Adjust the separation air.

Adjust the separation air pressure so that
the front edge of the top sheet is raised
completely and touches the feed rotor.
There are two types of nozzle patterns for the separation air nozzle -
one for thick sheets (coated paper) and one for thin sheets.
Select the correct separation air nozzles for the type of sheet being used.
Separation Air Nozzles for Thick Sheets - Coated Paper
The air blows straight under the feed rotor from all three outlets.
Separation Air Nozzles for Thin Sheets
This type of nozzle has four outlets. The air blows straight under the feed rotor from the two outlets
in the middle and outward from the two outlets at either end of the nozzle.
