15. INSTALL BEARING SNAP RING
Using snap ring pliers, install the snap ring.
NOTE: Be sure the snap ring is flush with the intermedi-
ate plate surface.
16. INSTALL REAR BEARING RETAINER
Using a torx socket wrench, install and torque the screws.
Torque: 185 kg-em (13 ft-Ib, 18 N·m)
17 . INSTALL REVERSE SHIFT ARM BRACKET
Install the reverse shift arm bracket and torque the bolts.
Torque: 185 kg-em (13 ft-Ib, 18 N·m)
18. INSTALL BALL AND SPACER
19. INSERT COUNTER FIFTH GEAR INTO HUB SLEEVE NO.3
(a) Install the shifting keys and hub sleeve No.3 onto the
counter 5th gear.
(b) Install the shifting key springs under the shifting keys.
CAUTION: Install the key springs positioned so that their
end gaps are not in line.
