Description
Select the desired option from the drop-down list.
The following options are available:

User side (default)
•
Network side
•
Symmetric side
Note:
If the PBX is configured on the network side, then
the MGC unit must be configured as the user side,
and vice versa, or both must be configured
symmetrically.
Indicates how the bits are sent on a PRI line.
Select the desired option from the drop-down list.
If T1 is specified as the span type in the Settings
dialog box, the following Line Coding values are
available:
•
B8ZS (default) - Bipolar 8-Zero Substitution
•
B7ZS
•
AMI - Alternate Mark Inversion with zero code
suppression
The difference between these modes is the way
eight consecutive zeros enabling information
synchronization are encoded.
If E1 is specified as the span type in the Settings
dialog box, the following Line Coding values are
available:
•
HDB3 (default) - Fours zeros are replaced by a
code
•
AMI - Alternate Mark Inversion with zero code
suppression
