Clearing Locally Stored Logs: Selected Files

Navigate to the Logs screen through the MANAGEMENT/OTHER/Log Configuration
drop-down menu.

On the Logs screen, for the log you wish to clear (e.g., Alarm log), click the X-icon.

In the message box that displays, click the OK button.

Issuing the HALT Command Before Removing Power

Once power is applied to the SecureSync, it should not be removed unless the HALT command is
issued to the unit. Using the HALT command to shut down the system gracefully not only reduces
the risk of damaging system files, but can also allow for faster startup after the next power-up of

Authentication and NTP logs cannot be cleared.
