REPLACEMENT OF CRANKSHAFT
(Replacement of the crankshaft only)
1. Wash the crankshaft using cleaning solvent.
Dry
it with
compressed air.
NOTE:
• Make sure that the oil gallery exhibits no restriction due
to rust-proof oil.
2. Select1on of crankshaft bearings
(1) Read
the
crankshaft journal diameter code number of
the cylinder block.
(2) Read the crankshaft main journal diameter code num-
ber.
(3) Establish the crankshaft bearing classification number,
using the table below.
