THROTILE POSITION SENSOR
Throttle position sensor
•
Inspection of throttle position sensor
1. Remove the air chamber (See page EM-17.)
•
2. Unlock the throttle position sensor connector and discon-
nect
it.
•
CAUTION:
• When disconnecting the connector. care must be exer-
cised to ensure that no excessive load is applied to the
throttle position sensor.
3. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the throttle
position sensor.
(1) Measure the resistance between @ and
®
under the
following conditions.
Throttle valve closed fully 29 kQ. or less at 2Q<'C
Throttle valve opened fully 1000 kn or more
If the measured resistance does not conform to the
specification, replace the throttle
body.
CAUTION:
Be very careful not to damage the terminal.
