6. Removal of intake and exhaust valve
(1) Remove the valve spring retainer locks, using the fol-
lowing SST.
SST: 09202-87002-QOO
(2) Remove the valve spring retainers, compression
springs, valves, valve stem oil seals and valve spring
seats.
NOTE:
• Arrange
the
removal parts in order so that their installing
positions may be known easily.
• If any difficulty is encountered in removing the valve
stem oil seal, pull the oil stem, using
the
following SST.
SST: 09201-87704-000
7. Remove the valve spring seats.
NOTE:
• Arrange the removed parts in order so that their installing
positions may
be
known easily.
B. Wash the disassembled
parts
except for electrical parts,
plastic parts and grease sealed bearings.
Dry them by blowing compressed air.
