18. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold by
removing the three attaching nuts.
19. Removal of cylinder head cover
( 1) Remove the bond cable from the cylinder head cover.
(2) Remove the two air intake chamber bracket attaching
bolts.
(3) Loosen the cylinder head cover attaching bolts evenly
over two or three stages in the sequence indicated in
the figure.
Remove the cylinder head cover attaching bolts.
20. Removal of cylinder head
(1) Loosen the cylinder head bolts, using a hexagon
wrench.
CAUTION:
Loosen the cylinder head bolts evenly over two or three
stages in the sequence indicated in the figure.
(2) Remove the cylinder head with intake and exhaust
manifold,
by
using the chain block .
CAUTION:
Be careful not to allow
the
cylinder head to M to the
vehicle body anclfor other parts.
Place the removed cylinder head on suitable two
wooden blocks in order that the cylinder head surface
and valve may not be damaged .
