12.8 Routing Information Protocol (RIP) Commands

This section describes the commands you use to view and configure RIP, which is a distance-vector routing protocol that you
use to route traffic within a small network.
12.8.1 router rip
Use this command to enter Router RIP mode.

This command resets the default administrative mode of RIP in the router (active).
