4.2.11 DHCP Server

4.2.11.1 Global Configuration
Configurable Data
Admin Mode - Specifies if the DHCP Service is to be Enabled or Disabled. Default value is Disable.
Ping Packet Count - Specifies the number of packets a server sends to a Pool address to check for duplication as
part of a ping operation. Default value is 2. Valid Range is (0, 2 to 10). Setting the value to 0 will disable the function.
Conflict Logging Mode - Specifies if conflict logging on a DHCP Server is to be Enabled or Disabled. Default value
is Enable.
Bootp Automatic Mode - Specifies if Bootp for dynamic pools is to be Enabled or Disabled. Default value is
Disable.
Add Excluded Addresses - Specifies the IP addresses that the server should not assign to the client.
From - Specifies the low address in case the user wants to exclude a range of addresses. Specifies the
address to be Excluded in case the user wants to exclude a single address.
To - Specifies the high address in case the user wants to exclude a range of addresses. To exclude a single
addres you may enter the same IP address as specified in From or leave as 0.0.0.0.
Delete Excluded Addresses - Lists the Excluded Address ranges with a checkbox against each. One or more
checkbox(es) can be selected (checked) in order to delete the listed Excluded Addresses.
Command Buttons
Submit - Sends the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration changes take effect immediately.
